4 Reasons I’m Actually Excited for the iPhone 15 Pro
It’s been a while since I cared, but this is a solid upgrade
I’ve gone back and forth between Android and iPhone for about as long as I’ve been using smart phones. The majority of the time I’ve been an iPhone user though. They really get me with their ecosystem. It’s just so stinking convenient.
The iMac I bought back in 2008 ran far better, for far longer, than any Windows computer I had ever owned, so I became a Mac user. I’ve continued to purchase Windows laptops over the years because that’s what I needed for work, but in my heart I only wanted to use a Mac.
And with that, comes the iPhone. And iPad. And Apple Watch. All their devices communicate together in a way that nothing else ever did, and it’s just so convenient I can’t get away.
So as someone that has fallen deeper and deeper into the Apple trap over the years out of convenience more than excitement, these are the reasons I’m pumped for the first time in a long time about a new iPhone release.
Small caveat that these are rumors, so subject to being proven wrong.
1. USB-C
Wow, finally?? Apple is ditching their proprietary Lightning connector. Who would have thought!
This may cause a little frustration at first, because what iPhone user doesn’t have a bunch of Lightning cables around the house ready to be picked up whenever you need one.
